Drawn from the experience of standing less than three meters from a wild gorilla in Rwanda, this piece is dedicated to their preservation. The artwork features one of the gorillas under the care of gorilla Doctors in Rwanda and the DNC whose important conservation work is responsible for the rallying numbers of gorillas. A.E. London is proud to highlight their important work.

A.E. London traveled to Rwanda to firsthand study and draw the Mountain Gorillas of Virunga. For over four decades, she has used her artwork to draw attention to and further the cause and preservation of endangered species. Together with her husband, Jim Hart, she is the founder of the non-profit, Arts for Animals.
