Curious Instinct

Spray Paint and scratching on Aluminium

70 x 66 cm

Unframed/unmounted. Signed

This piece depicts the true instincts that wild animals should be born with. If we lose these species in the wild and only see them in captivity this hunting instinct will eventually be lost. We can't expect our wild animals to remain truly wild living in enclosures.

My current work is based around conservation and depicts how us, as humans, have a negative effect on Wildlife, also what it would be like if animals treated us as certain populations treat them and in some cases just the beauty of an animal is enough to say 'Why are we not doing more to preserve these wonderful creatures. I use water based spray paints and acrylics, usually on Aluminum sheet to create my works, coupled with scratching.
