Last month I read the news about the death of a pregnant elephant in Kerala, which appalled and horrified me. The elephant died after eating fruit in which explosives were stuffed. So naturally I was drawn to painting the Indian Elephant. India is a country where the elephants are revered, I hope we can one day, go back to and give the respect to Elephants as before.

Jyoti Sethi is an Indian artist based in Dubai who works primarily in oils. She likes to paint vibrant, positive paintings. She is influenced by the natural beauty, and constantly tries to bring it in her paintings. She wants to contribute in saving the environment, even with her art.
