Chinese Pangolin are incredibly beautiful creatures but unfortunately the most trafficked animal in the world. Valued for their meat but also for the use of their scales in Chinese Medicines. Amazingly, there are now steps to protect this animal and take it off the approved ingredient list for these medicines.

For this exhibition two artists, from very different fields, came together for the very first time to create this unique collaboration artwork. Michelle Wickland (from a textile background) bringing the colour and texture overall, whilst Kristine Khan (from an event design profession) adding the pencil drawing of the Chinese Pangolin.
