Born into a family of zoologists in 1982, Martin grew up amidst forest and savannah creatures of central and eastern Africa. Through his paintings, Martin strives to raise the profile of endangered wildlife around the world and to generate support for its conservation. Martin strives for a clean, contemporary look to his artworks, celebrating the detail in his animal subjects, whilst creating hidden environments for them to live in.
