My giraffe portrait was painted to highlight the risks that face this elegant mammal. Many people remain unaware that the world’s tallest animal is experiencing a silent slide towards extinction. Giraffe numbers plummeted by a staggering 40% in the last three decades, and less than 100,000 remain today.

Having original trained in fashion/textiles I now live and work as a fine artist in the Cotswolds. My subject matter is diverse from architecture to animals. At present I am working on an A-Z of Endangered Species to raise awareness of the environmental issues, habit loss and human impact on so many species.
