Clouded Leopard

Acrylic paint on watercolour paper

21 x 29.7 cm

Unframed/unmounted. Signed

I was drawn to the clouded leopard because of its beautiful and unusual patterned fur. And as the main threat to the Clouded Leopard is man made habitat loss, I decided to incorporate this unnatural background into my painting. Instead of putting my leopard into its disappearing natural setting.

Artist & NHS worker based in South East Kent. Studied Foundation Diploma Art & Design and Art and Design Interdisciplinary BA (Hons) at Leeds College of Art. Working mainly with acrylic paint, using wildlife, nature and travel as the main focus of work.
