Amur Leopard

Acrylic on canvas board

29.7 x 42 cm

Unframed/unmounted. Signed

The Amur Leopard is thought to be the most end and endanger big cat with only 90 living in the wild. Native to Russia and China it has been hinted and suffers due to habitat loss. Conservation efforts have seen number increase slowly. I had to paint this cat, before we lose it forever, hopefully raising money will help to conserve it.

Self taught, part-time professional artist, self employed and working to commission mostly since 2007. Has a love of all things wild and actively supports animal charities with her work in particular Skydog Ranch in USA. Loves to paints all animals, particularly dogs, horse and big cats, also loves to paint the wild places she visits with her family such as The Cumbrian Fells, North Yorkshire Moors and The Dales. Favourite medium is acrylics but happily works in pencil, pastel and gouache.
