Alba shows love conflicting against a wanting for more. The gold in the background pushes focus on Polar Bears. Gold is associated with love, compassion and material glamour. Looking at Alba you feel smitten with him, thus forgetting material grandeur. Can't live without wildlife but we can be without objects.

Anna is a self-taught artist, driven by her admiration of nature. Working predominantly in oils, charcoal and pencil. She uses precise and deliberate strokes to produce representational pieces of work. Her pencil and charcoal studies concentrate on movement and texture, whilst the oil paintings show detail and the characteristics of nature.
